I just entered the lottery for the ING New York City Marathon 2010. A co-worker talked me into it.
But it’s super hard to qualify, you have to get in via a lottery system. 100,000 applicants. 38,000 runners.
BUT I better kick myself back into training – what if I get in? Right???
Now that's motivation to start training again because I would be kicking my butt really hard if I got in and wasn't ready.
